National Safety Excellence Award


The ABC National Safety Excellence Awards recognize companies who exhibit acontinued commitment to jobsite safety and whose safety performance and programsare judged to be exemplary by the ABC National Environment, Health &Safety(EH&S) Committee. Awards are based on data submitted via STEP applications, essay questions and video interviews with company Presidents/CEOs/Principals about their corporate safety culture. Award categories arebased on a company's total work-hours per calendar year and placement
within theNorth American Industry Classification System (NAICS).

The National Safety Excellence Award competition is open to all STEP Diamond and Platinum recipients at no cost. STEP Gold recipients may apply for the NSEA competition for a $450 application fee.



The 2013 NationalSafety Excellence Awards were presented Tuesday, February 11th, 2014 during
the 24th annual Excellence In Construction banquet at the Grand Wailea Resort on Maui, Hawaii.  Please click on the links below for lists of 2013 National Safety Award Winnners:


Deadlines
 
The deadline to submit 2014 National Safety Excellence Award applications is 5:00 PM EST on Friday, October 31st, 2014.Winners will be announced at the 25th annual Excellence In Construction
Awards banquet Thursday, March 5th in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
