Northern Utah Contractor is Awarded State Wide Qwest Bid

 

Sorensen Companies, Inc. (SCI), a utility excavation company in Northern Utah, is the successful bidder on the statewide contracts for Qwest Communications in Utah.  SCI will be performing both the General Construction Maintenance (GCM) and the Buried Service Wire (BSW) work for the regional phone company.

The contract terms are for a five-year term, and may generate revenues of approximately $20 to $30 million per year.  SCI currently employs 275 in Utah and an additional 100 in Belgrade, Montana and Phoenix, AZ.  SCI is excited for the future expansion into the Southern part of our state.
