The fine for not being trained or not following the required process is up to $37,500 per day.  The training deadline is April 22, 2010 in order to be in compliance.  The EPA will be working with local building inspectors to assist in the EPA's enforcement of this new law.  Our company is certified to conduct this training, however there is limited space available for the training.   Also, the third year term for the Dept. of Professional Licensing (DOPL) continuing education started as of December 1, 2009.  For contractors who attend this EPA Lead Paint required training, this also satisfies all of your 6 hours of required DOPL training for the next two years. CLICK HEREfor information about upcoming trainings.
