[Sandy, Utah] February 26, 2010 – Full service accounting firm Piercy Bowler Taylor and Kern (PBTK) announces that it has opened a location in Sandy, Utah. The firm, celebrating its 20th year of operation, has expanded into the Utah market as part of its overall growth strategy to work in the major cities of the United States, if not the world.
PBTK is known for its governmental, nonprofit, construction, health care and real estate accounting and taxation work. Led by James Andrus, a resident of Highland City, the firm’s Utah practice will mirror the firm’s focus on technical excellence and superior service.
Andrus has lived in Utah since 1998 and has been a CPA for 18 years. He specializes in auditing and consulting services for construction companies, local governments and nonprofit organizations, as well as family-owned businesses and SEC companies. His mix of experience mirrors Utah’s economy. Andrus is currently servig as the Chapter Treasurer for Associated Builders and Contractors of Utah (ABC)
